Who we are:
Architecture Social Club (ASC) is an award-winning, multi-disciplinary design studio, operating in the overlapping domains of art, architecture, music and technology. Endlessly curious, we design and build tools to create experiences and tell stories that aim to stimulate and empower participants towards deeper, more meaningful connections between people, phenomena and their environment.
Creatively agile, ASC draws from a diverse team, blending skills from digital craft and precision engineering, to sculptural and architectural design. As such, research, making and experimentation are deeply embedded into the studio’s DNA. ASC deploys a mixed media palette, mixing the material and the immaterial in creating work designed to sensorially and psychologically engage and reshape our perceptions.
Our work has taken us around the world, collaborating with artists and institutions such as Microsoft, National Theatre of Performing Arts (Beijing), Liberty London, Design Indaba (Cape Town) and The Smithsonian.
